These words, while originally intended to encourage me during this season, are words I must share with you to encourage you during your current circumstances. Remember in Jeremiah 29:11 when the Lord said "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"? He spoke those words over you before you were born and truly I believe God intends to accomplish something amazing and powerful through YOU. He very carefully selected YOU for this journey.
While your mission may not look anything like mine – the purpose is still the same. Your journey through life is about what God wants to do in YOU and through YOU to accomplish his ulitimate plan. You may not have the opportunity to travel the world, but God uses each of us in different ways, regardless of what that may look like. He meets us where we are and uses us in our current circumstances in order to accomplish something amazing and powerful. He very carefully selected you – you may never know why he selected you for the journey you're on, but there's something that only you can accomplish for the Kingdom. He will use you in mighty ways if only you step out in faith and obediently follow his lead. He is calling you to a draw close to him so he can draw near to you. He is deepening your trust and dependence on him, strengthening your faith, building your testimony, shaping your character, testing your endurance, restoring your dreams, healing your heart, and so much more! He is using you as his hands and feet in tangible ways. Show others the love of Christ and spread the name of Jesus to the ends of your world.
Seek him and follow him as he leads you along the best pathway for your life! It's a journey of a lifetime, unique to you and who God designed you to be; it's a mission he very carefully selected you to fulfill and only you can do it.
Because of God's faithfulness and through your obedience and generosity, I've exceeded my first goal of $3,500!! Reaching this financial milestone means I will attend Training Camp July 14-21 in Atlanta!! The next deadline is $6,500 by August 18, 2012 in order to leave with my squad on the World Race in September. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that God will provide every penny required!!
