This has been one of my best birthdays EVER! It will be one I will never forget!
I actually rang in my birthday just after midnight with my team mates. We finished up our nightly feedback session then the girls prayed over me before we went to bed. Let's just say it was the funniest prayer time EVER – Ashlee prayed that God would blow me up but keep me fit. When Laura prayed, it was super drawn out and Monica laid hands on my toe! We were exhausted, but clearly filled with the joy of the Lord. We were all laughing hysterically and crying!
This morning when we sat down for breakfast, Liz sang me a birthday cadence! She is skilled in writing cadences. (Couldn't upload to video, but here are the words)

And today is your best birthday yet!
For breakfast, we were served an amazing breakfast: eggs, bread, and mocha! I even had a few birthday cards to open!
Today, we visited a school to share the importance of the Bible and how it has changed our lives. Afterwards, we went to the school our contact runs to clean up the yard. We pulled weeds and painted. As we were getting ready to leave, something extremely shocking happened, and it all happened in SLOW MOTION!
WATER WAS POURED OVER MY HEAD!
I WAS SOAKED!
I BEGAN TO RUN AWAY, BUT BEFORE I KNEW IT, SOMETHING WAS CRACKED ON MY HEAD!
AN EGG!
THEN, FLOUR WAS POURED ON TOP OF THAT!
I WAS A WET, STICKY, FLOURY MESS!
BUT ALL THE KIDS FOUND IT EXTREMELY FUNNY!
AND I DID TOO!
I EVEN HUGGED A FEW OF THE CULPRITS AS PAY BACK 🙂
Upon arriving back to the house, I immediately jumped in the shower, and had to shampoo my hair twice to get sticky, floury gunk our of my hair. After I was cleaned up, we sat down for dinner. I'm amazed at how good all the food in here. When we finished eating, a birthday cake was brought out!
I'm beyond blessed! And thankful to my team for celebrating me today!
