Oh wow! It has been over a month since I have blogged. I am so sorry for the lack of updates; I honestly didn’t realize that much time had passed since I last wrote. The rest of October was so much fun and good times spent with lots of good friends.

November has been filled with so many moments I have been thankful for that I just cannot begin to name them all. God has been so, just, THERE in my life this last month. It has been amazing growing closer to Him. Simple things I would have just taken for granted before now make me stop and smile as I know it is God wooing me.
So there have been several things about my trip that I wanted to update you all on. First of all, it was revealed to us that the route order in which we thought we would be taking on this journey was actually not the route at all. Let me be clear, I am still going to all the same 11 countries as before ( as always, that can still change at any moment), but I will be going to them in a different order than what I was anticipating. So my new order will be:

Bittersweet moment: I won’t be going to Kenya in January, which means I have to wait longer to possibly see my kids, but I will be in Kenya for my birthday!!
Also, we received our official launch date! M Squad (as well as N, O, and P Squads) will be reuniting in Washington D.C. on January 8th, 2012. We will spend a few days worshipping and training together in D.C. and then travel to our respective first countries (M squad’s will be Costa Rica).
Hopefully Sweet moment: I am traveling to D.C. a few days early to see some family and I am hoping the White House looks like this when I get there!

And finally, I realized I never introduced you to the amazing people I will be spending the next year with. First let me back track and give you a vocabulary lesson. In World Race terms a Squad is the 55 people who I will be traveling to each country with. We are all on the same route. But since it is overwhelming to ask one ministry to house/feed/find stuff to do for that many people we split up into Teams and spread out over the country. In World Race terms a team is a group of 5-8 people all living together and doing the same ministry together aka a family.
My lovely team has 7 people on it.

So I think that is it for now. I will try and blog more in my last month here in the States. I promise!
