I fall in love with this place more and more every day. While it doesn’t feel the way Kenya feels to me, it sure comes as close as it can get. If I had to sum up my experience in Nepal in one word I would simply say “beautiful.”

Most of our ministry this month has been to entertain. The kids were out of school for two weeks, so our main focus was to get to know them and plan things for them to do. We played games, did a scavenger hunt, and took them to the zoo and the pool. It was a lot of fun. But part of our ministry this month was also to minister to the women of our house.

The women here have all been rescued from sex trafficking. There are some “women” here who are 15 and 16 years old, and mothers. Most of the women have horror stories. But you wouldn’t know it by the way they act every day. These women have so the best smiles and the most contagious laughs.

The kids were finally back in school this week, and we made plans to take some of the women to the botanical garden close to our house. We invited all the women, not really sure who could come or who would want to come.  It ended up being 10 of us Racers, 7 Nepali women, 1 Little Princess, and 1 Little Prince.  We made our way to the gardens and had a beautiful day enjoying the beautiful earth God created. It was the first time for 4 of the women to go to the gardens, and I do not think their smiles could get any bigger if they tried. Even the little ones were all smiles. Well, until I tried to hold them; they have a small fear of white people. It was a fantastic day, just basking in the beauty.

But I do not think I saw anything as beautiful as this picture.

I would like to introduce to you The Beautiful 19.
