Hello everyone! I am safely in Uganda and about to start Month 8 of the Race! I can't believe that in 4 months I will be home.
As most of you know, at the start of Rwanda I got sick and spent a great deal of time at the hospital during the month. I was really praying that as we moved into Uganda I would no longer have to visit the hospital every other day. But it looks like that is not going to be the case. While the wound is healing nicely, it is just healing slow. Well slow healing is normal for this wound, but it is still requiring me to visit a hospital. Going to the hospital has wiped out my bank account. And seeing as I have to continue going I am going to need more funds. That is why I am asking for your help. I am not sure how much it costs in Uganda yet, but in Rwanda it cost me between $15-$20 a day. Also, I still need $175 until I am fully funded.
