Well it is official! I have met my first fundraising goal! As of today I have $3,578 is my WR Account!! Plus I have raised the funds to cover my plane ticket to training camp ($138) and my health insurance for the year ($300). God has been so amazing in providing the funds for this trip and the wonderful people who have given me financial prayer support!! I wanted to say a great big thank you to everyone who has financially supported me. Whether it was through purchasing tshirts and bracelets, partaking in my Facebook campaign, responding to support letters, attending one of my fundraisers, or by giving through the website. Every dollar has counted and has made this trip possibe.
Also to Kelly, Jessica, Sarah, Ben, Holly, Jaime, and Staphenie: Thank you for helping me run these fundraisers. Seriously I would not be where I am finacially if God had not placed it on your heart to help me and if you hadn't obeyed. Thank you for enduring my "sweat shops", the loading and unloading of trucks for my garage sale, and just the constant support whenever I need to get anything done. I truly appreciate it.
And to everyone else who has gave or prayed or encouraged: Thank you again. From the bottom of my heart!
So deadline #1 is behind us, but deadline #2 is fast approaching. I need a total of $6500 in my account 2 weeks before I leave (so around December 15th). I have a brithday coming up next Sunday, the 23rd, and I am asking if you were planning on getting me something to please donate the amount you would have spent to my trip. Even if it is only $1. Seriously, every LITTLE bit helps!
