We made it out of Botswana, alive & well.
I posted a blog at the start of Botswana sharing my goals for those 2 months, I’m here to update you on how it went!!
Pictures, pictures, pictures:
– I was successful! Check out my Facebook page to see some of the pictures I took this month! I was a little late in updating them, but they are now there 🙂
Go on a safari:
– Mostly a success!! I had said I would a safari in Botswana, but instead we went and took a weekend trip to Zambia to see Victoria falls— so so cool. We are now in South Africa and I was able to go to Kruger park and go on a safari, all my dreams came true.
Learn a song on the piano:
– I can’t say that I am very good, but I can officially play twinkle twinkle little star on a keyboard. Thanks Kate!!
Study the book of Acts:
– This goal of mine brought far more fruit than I could have asked for. Starting to study Acts got me real excited about being in the word and it lead to me getting through the whole New Testament in 30 days!!!!! Check out my new blog about my South Africa goals to see what else I hoping to read in these next 2 months.
The voice the Lord:
– When making this goal I didn’t even know what I was asking for. I had heard people say they hear the voice of the Lord, and I wasn’t sure what that even meant. The Lord spoke and he was loud and clear. My devotion and relationship with the Lord completely changed, and I have such a desire to grow.
Botswana was such a blessing, and I am so thankful that the Lord put me in the place that He did. My word for Botswana is growth.
