When you think about the world, it feels like this big, mysterious place.
When I set out to travel the world in 2016, I didn’t know what to expect.
I was curious about the people we would meet and what the cultures would be like.
And the people we met surprised me!
I found that despite culture, despite background – people are just people.
Sometimes we think we’re so different than others.
But really, I found, we as collective humanity are far more similar than we realize.
We have the same desires, the same things driving us.
We don’t want to see people suffering.
We want to help others.
And make people happy.
We really have similar hearts.
