I’m thankful each day for many things and its difficult to pick one, so some of these may be more than one. It always makes me smile when I read over these and reflect on the month before because I am reminded of how good the lord is to me. What a good Father we have.

10/10 a buss full of 20 girls singing worship songs as we drive into Haiti

10/11 creole lessons

10/12 five minute walks to the beach eating

10/13 lunch with the granmoun (elderly in creole)  

10/14 Ann from Michigan and her heart for orphans

10/15 wifi day/communicating home

10/16 playing with toy cars with my sweet friend Lawrence at Ann’s home

10/17 Finally! Sleeping! Through! The Night!

10/18 new joy

10/19 a day of rest on a unique beach with lots of sea urchins

10/20 a new sister in Christ!!!

10/21 successful Haitian choir practice

10/22 watched a movie about Botswana: )

10/23 refreshing morning runs with Paige and Lucy

10/24 swimming with naked kids at the beach and helping the ladies with laundry on the shore  

10/25 ice cream… yes, real ice cream, on a cone and everything

10/26 seeing God move in simple interactions during outreach

10/27 Lawrence from Ann’s coming to bible club

10/28 training to be treasurer : )

10/29 Singing in the choir on Sunday!!!

10/30 my team walked 30 minutes to a gas station to get my Gatorade b/c I was sick… they rock

10/31 staying up all night praying over Haiti and eating the best pancakes at 2 AM

11/1 FINISHED college APPS!! ( GO A&M and OU!! Gigem and boomer sooner; ) )

11/2 a five hour hike and crystal clear springs and riding on TOP of a bus through Montrouis

11/3 new friends who wanted to do our hair for us, lol, I have corn rows right now

11/4 everyone being healed from illness!

11/5 talking to KY on the phone and just my team in general, love them

11/6 packing and cleaning day : )

11/7 hearing Alex’s testimony

11/8 Travel day/ WE WERE IN THE USA FOR A FEW HOURS

11/9 a 12 hour day because of time changes, weird and cool, and im tired

11/10 Johannesburg, South Africa is a very cool city and I love it.

11/11 doctors and medicine

11/12 one of the best days, cold weather, shopping with Paige, hillsong church, and good coffee

11/13 Travel day 1 to Botswana, rode on a fancy bus that gave us snacks for 12 hours

11/14 waking up to a red African sunrise at five am on the over night bus

11/15 our wonderful new home and hosts for the next two months : )

11/16 REALLY COLD WEATHER (in Africa, strange right?)

11/17 grocery shopping!!

11/18 talking with Kendall, Kyla, and Paige for hours

11/19 having church at home and pumpkin tart (best thing I’ve ever eaten, no joke)

11/20 evangelism training and children’s ministry

11/21 the first big rain of the rainy season of the delta  

11/22 conversations with Ma Willie in the kitchen after lunch doing the dishes

11/23 getting to cook a thanksgiving meal for our hosts : )
