Hello Family and Friends,
I am about to embark on the craziest adventure I have thus far; I will be travelling with the World Race going to 11 countries in 11 months… That’s right folks I will be gone almost a complete year. I am scheduled to leave this July.. WOW. We will be doing different things in each country and working with lots of different kinds of ministries and people. My route includes: Romania, Ukraine, Ireland, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia. I will be living out of a backpack/tent for a year and living off the bare minimum. My heart is to simply show as many people the love of Christ that I can. I am not interested in converting anyone or adding another number to a statistic, but simply to love God’s people to the best of my ability.
I am sending out these letters not to ask you for more money, but merely your support. It doesn’t have to be a check or a physical gift. Just knowing that you have my back and support my crazy self on this undertaking is enough for me. Practically, yes I need to raise $15,500, gear, and supplies, but that is the least of my worries. I am asking you to follow along on this adventure with me to see how the Lord is working in my life and around the world.
I will be updating a blog, karaturner.theworldrace.org, and posting on Facebook throughout the year. Please follow along with me and keep me in your prayers as I follow the Lord on this crazy journey. I am honestly still a little shocked that this is happening. I am trusting the Lord in so many new ways and already seeing new fruit in my life.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and hear my heart. I pray that you consider supporting me however you feel lead. I also pray that through all of this you are blessed and touched by the Lord’s faithfulness and the reality of His presence in our lives.I am so thankful to have people like you in my life that support me and genuinely believe in me. It really is such a beautiful thing, and I do not take it for granted.
