Hello! And Welcome!!
So a little about me…
- I am Kara! I'm 23 years old, and before leaving for the World Race I reside in central Illinois.
- I am a barista at a local coffee shop, where I work with wonderful people and love it!
- I graduated from Monmouth College in May 2012 with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
- I don't actually blog….so thing whole thing should be an interesting experience for all involved.
- In my free time I thoroughly enjoy reading or knitting!
- I am blessed to have an incredibly supportive group of family and friends.
- I love traveling and gaining new knowledge and wisdom that different people and cultures have to offer.
- In the past, I have had the chance to travel outside of the U.S. to Ecuador, Zambia, and Germany.
- I have the most amazing and beautiful cat that I am convinced can turn anyone into a cat lover.
- I have felt an increasing call to missions for some time now.
- I'm an ISFJ…if that means anything to you.
- Jesus has my heart. "We love because he first loved us." -1 John 4:19
- And I feel so unbelievably blessed and excited for this next chapter of my life and to have the opportunity to serve God through the World Race in 11 different countries over 11 months!
