One of our first days of ministry here in Moldova was an event to remember!  Through out the day I had many realizations that “Yes, I am in a foreign Country doing mission work, this is my life for this eleven months!”

The day started out great and ended awesome!  I woke up at 7:30 am to do a little workout, then we had prayer from 8:30 to 9:00am.  Next was a delicious breakfast and then we broke into groups to do various work for the day.

Alicia and I were assigned to picking grapes and making grape juice! Neither of us have ever done this before so we hustled around picking buckets of grapes and walking them back to the house!  Once we filled the entire tub with grapes we washed and started squishing them to get all the juice.

After 6 hours of squishing away we only made it half way through the tub and made about 10 Liters of grape juice.  After boiling it, we filled up some old water containers with the juice.  I believe we will be continuing to make juice so that Vitali and the orphans will have juice for the winter!  It was so much fun and quite the mess, but definitely worth it!
