for my Softball Girls!)
Once
upon a time the Northerner’s laughed slightly at this story!
So as you can guess the Dominican is quite
hot! The temps have been around 95 to 100 with about 100% humidity (it has been
raining the past few days, on and off)
ANYWAYS soooo obviously my sweat has been
constant and my body is adjusting to the new climate. One of our Squad meetings was in a
hotel/casino conference room and as we walk to the building we are dripping
with sweat (something I am now used to and don’t even care about!) and as we
enter the building we are BLOWN away by the lovely invention of what we like to
call AIR CONDITIONING… Now this seems like a normal story but it gets better
(at least I think so)…
. . . As we cool down during the conference
room someone happens to see the temperature at which the hotel has it’s air
conditioner set on . . . This SWEET . . . COLD . . . REFRESHING temperature that I am feeling
soooo glorious sitting in turns out to be………………………… 85
degrees!!!! hahahahahaha
OK so I don’t know if you find that funny
but I DO! Considering if I were at home and it was 85 degrees in my HOUSE or
OUTSIDE I would be on fire and dripping with sweat with heat radiating from my
body lol but NO I am in the DR refreshed by 85 degree air condition 🙂
