5 Countries and numerous church services later I continue to find myself singing this song when I cannot understand the worship songs…

I have always loved this song, but it never really came alive to me until I visited my first church service in the Dominican Republic the first month of the race. From there on out that is all I hear in my head during every church worship service. I have seen so many people from all over the world this year worship the Lord with all of their heart. 
For some reason before when I sang this verse “People from every nation and tongue” I would always think of every country other than America. 5 countries later and after seeing how these people serve and love their God, all I can do is pray that America will soon worship God in the way this song is talking about.
After giving my testimony on Saturday, the Pastor stood up and said these words to his church ” It is harder for people in America to find Jesus, than it is for us because they have so much stuff in their way”
He spoke a lot of truth in that one sentence alone…
The sad thing to me is that the man saying these very words is a follower of Jesus in a society where Christianity is not accepted like it is where I am from. But they don’t care what their culture has to say. When they say they are christian, they don’t mean they visit church on Easter Sunday. They mean they LOVE Jesus with all of their heart, soul and mind and He is what that they live for.
The Lord returns soon. Are you ready?
That is what the sticker reads on my bedroom door. Funny I know, but that one little sticker has had an impact on me. I AM ready for my Jesus to return. But than again, America is not ready.. This is why I believe all of that stuff that stands in our way of Jesus is slowly being removed. I can praise Jesus in the middle of the chaos are loved ones are facing because I know that He is about to bring America to their knees. So if your not ready… You better get that way…
