This month my team and I are living at a YWAM base in Livingstone, Zambia right next to Victoria Falls. We are working with the Church of God during the week and going into villages and doing door to door evangelism.
It has been a growing experience doing evangelism this month. We did school evangelism in the Philippines, but door to door has been vastly different. The people here are open and invite you in to talk. The majority of these people have heard of Jesus and know the Gospel, but they haven’t grasped a true understanding that God wants a relationship and not acts of service. It’s incredibly encouraging when they ask questions and have a thirst to learn more. This doesn’t happen at every house, but it has happened.
Outside of evangelism my team and I have also been preaching on Sundays and teaching the children’s Sunday school class. This upcoming Sunday, I will be giving the message. I am both nervous and excited. We also have a kids ministry at the YWAM base on Sunday afternoons that we have gotten involved in.
This month has been incredible for my team. We have so many stories from evangelizing, but we also have been able to grow as a team since this is our first month of really doing ministry together. I have greatly enjoyed going out with different members of my team doing door-to-door and learning from their styles of sharing the Gospel as well as getting to know them better in the process.

Today marks the half way point of the Race. How incredibly crazy is that? At times it has felt like much longer than the 5 1/2 months it has been, and at other times it has felt incredibly short.
I was just talking with my teammate Elise about something that happened in Thailand and it’s weird to realize that we have memories together IN Thailand. I am so thankful for this opportunity to share the Gospel to so many people and in so many countries. It has been truly growing and I know that that growth is not finished yet.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement and prayers. I know that I would not be where I am today without your partnership and I am truly appreciative of it. Thank you for partnering with me in sharing the Gospel. May the Lord be glorified through it all and may He bless you abundantly because of your service to Him.
Till Next Time,
Kara Faber
