Last month my team stayed in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. At the end of the month, however, we had to meet up with our squad in Victoria Falls for a mini-debrief.
My teammate, Meagan, did research on transportation from Bulawayo to Victoria Falls and found that we could take the train first class for $15 a person. We read the reviews which consisted of saying that the train was known for breaking down and being consistently late.
My team thought it would make an interesting adventure to take this 1950’s train and we were right. We ended up not being late at all, but we did get to see a couple of elephants and tour this train.

My teammates, Hannah and Ally — who also had gotten a weave — and I spent a good portion of our train ride taking out our weave.

And a couple hours before we arrived at our station, Meagan and I got to explore the train

So, if you are ever in Zimbabwe and need to go from one city or another, I would definitely recommend the train. It was a great experience and super fun.
Till Next Time,
