Thursday, April 2nd 3 am. The scene is my bathroom. The problem: My stomach decided it did not like its contents. As a bonus prize I ran a fever all day, which I feels like getting hit by a truck. Long story short. (details left out to protect the weak of stomach) God is an amazing God. Why? My team and family were praying that I would be well enough to fly and start World Race Training Camp the very next day.

Friday, April 3rd, 4 am. I feel like a brand new person. No stomach issues,no fever. Just rest and rejuvenation. God completely rocks. Most people I know who had the virus I had were sick for at least three or four days and their symptoms were much more severe. I cannot deny that our prayers were answered by our merciful, loving God. What an incredible way to start of my week of training camp.

Camp is a week of intense preparation. Which breaks down into crying and then laughing and then crying and laughing again. Crying because God molding and sculpting the person I need to be through inner healing teachings, team building, times of seeking God’s will in the moment. Laughing because of incredible teammates, hilarious team builders, and just the joy of being in such an incredible community. A community where God is Lord and we are free to love, live, fail, succeed, be messy and most of all be real about who we are and who we are not.

Keep checking in for more updates on what God is doing at World Race Training Camp. Thank you to all those who lifted me up in prayer!
