1.Who do you live with?
-For this little season between the race and what's next I am living back at home with my mom and stepdad… Which is great 🙂
2. How do you describe home?
-Physically home has been all over the world over the past year. I've realized that I truly can feel at home anywhere, knowing that I have my God with me wherever I am. But being with my family is definitely still home to me.
3. Who do you want to be?
-I want to be a woman who can be content in every situation. I want to be a woman of boldness and integrity, who trusts completely in God. I want to be fearless and willing to do the work God has laid before me. I want to be someone who brings hope and love to children who feel hopeless and unloved.
4. What are three foods you are today?
-Blueberries, Caesar salad, and yogurt — no rice, fried tarantulas, or bee larva today!
5. What are you looking forward to?
-I am looking forward to G42! Lord willing, I will be attending this leadership academy this October-March in Spain. I'm also excited to see God provide for it financially, since I honestly have no idea where the funds will come from. I'm excited for my future and the big things I know the Lord has in store!
6. What was the best part of your day?
-The best part of my day so far has been hanging out with the one year olds at work with my sister. The love these kiddos so freely give is beautiful and so sweet. I'm loving all of the cuddles and giggles!
7. Where do you want to travel next?
-While in Europe this fall/spring I would love to take a few mini trips to Morocco, France, Portugal, and Italy. I'm also in the process of planning a return trip to Thailand with my family! And I would LOVE to go to India!
8. What are you reading right now?
-I actually just finished a couple books while on vacation and now am on a search for a good read! Any suggestions?
9. What did you wear today?
-Jean capris, my Swazi t-shirt, and my world map Toms –thanks Jean and Morgan 🙂
10. Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
-Well I never thought I'd be moving to Spain to go to a leadership academy so who knows! But God has given me a big dream to help fight injustice for children around the world- which is why I'm going to G42. So hopefully that will be up and running within the next five years. And I'd still like a family of my own 🙂
11. What are you learning right now?
-I'm learning how to put into practice in the "real world" all that I learned on the field. I'm learning how to better love people where they're at. I'm learning to have more grace for myself and those around me.
