Someone once told me that you cannot change the world, but you can change yourself and be in the world.

Lately, the most profound moments are happening with my roommates on the kitchen floor. I couldn’t tell you why, but before you know it on a Saturday morning we have been sitting against the refrigerator with our dogs drinking coffee for an hour and 2% of the world’s problems have been solved. We own chairs and never use them.

More recently (or due to popular demand) I have been inspired to think of 100 reasons why I am doing The World Race.

As someone who has never been on a long missions trip these could be good, bad, neutral or completely irrelevant, but we will find out come August.
