Who is this Christ in which I follow after? I don’t often take the time to truly think about it. All of what God has done for me has a way of becoming common place in my life. But what God has done is a great and mighty and worthy of far more than what I give to him day by day. I need to take the time to remember what he has and is still doing in my life. He suffered a death that was meant for me, for you… for the world.
I have never really followed after Billy Graham, not because he isn’t a great mouth piece for God, but because I tend to avoid what the world seeks after. But tonight I took the time to watch this video with my aunt. I am reminded that God is worthy of my time and attention. I don’t want to become complacent and forget why it is that I follow after God.
” Humble me Lord, remind me why it is that I serve you. Remind me of your great love for me. Help me to be alive with your Holy Spirit, that I may be bold in my faith, serving you with courage and passion. You oh Lord, are worthy of far more than I offer as a sacrifice to you!”
