Nahala goes to India

I spent the first four months of of my journey in Eastern Europe, accompanied by team Unity 31. We had many great times together, some difficult and a massive amount of growth. While I enjoyed the people I met and the beautiful landscape of the countries there, it is time to say goodbye. Jessica and Nicole went to a new team, Amy became a squad leader and Piva and Colleen joined me on our new team.

We met our new team in Bucharest, Romania. Everyone was nervous about who would be on their new team, including me. I was the most nervous. I took a day to fast and pray for the squad leaders decisions. I wanted Gods best, and I wanted to make sure they were hearing his voice clearly. I trust God would not steer me wrong. Especially when I seek him in prayer.

When the teams were announced, I was beyond happy. While other people took time to process through some grief, I took the time to lift up a prayer of thanks. While I am certain there will be some challenges that come with this team, I feel like it will be a great team.

We spend some time in a local park, discussion what we felt the lord had for our team. We all agreed that this next season of the race will be met with some serious spiritual warfare, and that we would need to be fully prepared to go into such a battlefield. So we wanted a team name that would reflect that.  We are children of the one true king, and we have been given all authority over spiritual warfare. So we chose the name Nahala, which means inheritance in Hebrew. We have the inheritance along with Christ, which includes peace as well as victory. We are ready to go to India with claim to our full inheritance in Christ.

I can’t wait to share some of the great things God does with team Nahala. Be prepared for some great stories, and if you want, join us in this battle by praying for us.

May You delight yourself in The Lord today.
