#8 Denis Beckles. Denis Beckles is a preacher from Barbados. The first time I heard of him, he was referred to a prophet. Well, I didn’t know much about modern day prophets, so I was skeptical. But I went to see what my two best friends found so fascinating about him. While I have seen him speak prophetic words over people, that is not why I feel he is worth honoring. I continued to come listen to him preach month after month because of his passion for revival and how boldly he speaks the truth of God. He isn’t afraid to tell the world that sin is sin and that without God you are lost to that sin. I had come to hear him preach many years before he ever gave a prophetic word over me. And I am sure that word was straight from the mouth of God. He spoke things to me about the very struggle that I was going through with God at that moment. He addressed the very things in which I was questioning God about. He affirmed that God does hear me in prayer. I know that Denis Beckles is not the type of man to foolishly give out words that he claims to be from God, so that he can boast of his prophetic gifts. He waited until God truly had a word for me, to speak prophetically over me. His testimony is just as great, how he went from being a corrupt cop who was full of violence, hate and sexual sin, to a man that walks by the righteousness of God. Praise be to God, for lifting up a man such as this!!!
