Wow. God is so faithful! It’s so hard to put into words the last couple weeks. But, the shortened version is this. I had two weeks to meet a $5,000 fundraising goal in order to go to Training Camp, and to ultimately continue on the January 2017 route. In my mind, that seemed- well.. impossible. But even in my doubts, I had to keep reminding myself nothing is impossible with God. If this is the route He wants for me, He will provide. And wouldn’t you know- HE DID! I’m proud to share that with many eager, faith-filled supporters, God has done a miracle, and I’m currently at $6040 raised! I’m so grateful to have such a strong team here that has rallied around me in this crazy adventure.
So, October 19-29 I will be in Georgia for a 10 day Training Camp with my squad and all other racers on the other January routes. This will be a time of preparation and team bonding, and I don’t know much else! I have heard it’s jam-packed and quite exhausting, so please keep that in your prayers.
