Tonight is my last night in the Philippines, and in our final debrief session, we received some BIG NEWS!

V Squad is having a ROUTE CHANGE!

This is now our new route: Philippines (done), Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Swaziland, South Africa, … and four unknown countries in Europe!

I am so excited about Thailand and South Africa that I can’t even sit still while I’m typing this.  This change also means we are spending two months in Africa, rather than three, and we will no longer be going to India and Nepal.

While there are some bummers involved in those losses, I’m genuinely excited about the gains (SOUTH AFRICA and THAILAND and more of EUROPE!).

I know God wrote my 11 month route long, long ago.  We’re just in the process of figuring out what He has planned!  It may change again, and I’m okay with that.  This whole race was His idea in the first place… I’m just along for the ride (and loving it).

In other news, my team will be arriving in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia tomorrow to begin our Ask the Lord/Unsung Heroes month.  We are not given contacts by AIM and are responsible for seeking out new ministry contacts so that we can (1) share their stories on our blogs and spread the word about what they are doing and (2) potentially connect them with AIM for future World Race teams to serve there.

If you have any potential contacts in Malaysia that may be interested in meeting my team, please email me at [email protected]. Any leads are appreciated!

There are lots of unknowns for next month (for example– we do not yet know where we’re sleeping Wednesday night).  There is also a lot of room to trust God and watch Him provide and grow in faith.  I’m so excited to see what He has planned for me and my team!

For all you prayer warriors out there, my team is asking for prayer for provision and open doors, that God would lead us to unsung heroes for us to meet and learn from this month.

On a more personal note, I ask that you pray Ephesians 4:16-19 over my heart and life– that God would strengthen me with the power to understand and know His love, which surpasses my knowledge.

Thank you for following my journey and covering me in prayer.  I truly love sharing as much as I can about what is going on here with all of you at home.

I’ll post again soon… from Malaysia!  Here we go, Month 2!
