Ministry looked like house to house evangelizing, preaching at church 3 times a week, playing with babies and toddlers at an orphanage, visiting a home for street kids, singing songs with children that are visually impaired, prayer walks and open air preaching at the market!
Food looks like rice, beans, pasta, cabbage, chapati, potatoes, spinach, pineapple, apples, oranges, eggs and bread.
Lodging looked like me living in my tent in the living room. Rats were friendly visitors that came out at night, I didn't wish to be affiliated with them. Our concrete home with a tin roof is approximately 700 sq. ft. And divided up into four rooms. There were three bedrooms and one living room. We live in a compound and share our squatty potty and bucket shower with another family. The bathroom and is just outside the house along with a separate room for the kitchen. The women cook on a stone stove that is coal fired. In our courtyard area there are six lines that run in different directions used to dry clothes.
