So this is real, this is happening! I’m going to 11 countries in 11 months.
WOW!
Some days I wake up and wonder what happened to the old me? The one that loves her king size comfy bed, her designer shoes, and air conditioning. And then I remember that I have prayed about this for months. I have asked the Lord to open the door for me, to prepare my heart, and to show me what his will is for my life. He has done that in the most beautiful way. I am ready. I am scared but I am ready. I am leaving my family, my job, my friends, and countless other things to take this journey with him. I know that he is going to change my heart over the next year in ways I could have never imagined. I also know that he will bless me abundantly throughout this journey.
I need your prayers more than anything. Pray that I will raise the money to go on this trip! Pray for my safety. Pray for provision and guidance. Pray for my family and friends who are worried for me. Pray for my team and squad mates embarking on this journey with me. Pray for the people we will be witnessing to. Pray that the Lord would continue to prepare my heart for this experience. Pray for peace and comfort.
