Hello Everyone!

Escalator at the LAX airport the night J Squad returned from the World Race!

I’m back in the United States and on my way home!!

I want to thank you all so much for all of the support you’ve given me prayerfully, financially, and emotionally over the past year! I am grateful beyond words!  I will still be posting blogs about things I learned and experienced during my time on the Race, but I wanted to take a moment to share with you all what I will be doing next.

I have recently been accepted into the Adventures Fellowship Program through Adventures in Missions (AIM), the organization that developed and organizes the World Race.  The Fellowship program is designed to help World Race Alumni practice living a Christ-centered life in the workplace while simultaneously providing the opportunity to develop marketable business skills while working in the AIM office.  The program is a six-month long training course that will primarily involve working on collaborative projects in the AIM office, but will also include time set aside each week for spiritual development and community building.  The Fellowship Program is also a mentorship program that will provide me with a spiritual director within AIM and a mentor that is currently in the field of the career I will pursue at the end of the program, which in my case is medicine/medical research.  I have been assigned to the donor relations office where I will be helping to design ways to make AIM more financially independent, including possibly helping make the fundraising process easier for future World Racers.

The cost of the Fellowship Program is $9,950 which includes living expenses for six months, including housing that will be provided, course materials, monthly group activities, and a leadership development event.

I start the Adventure Fellowship Program on September 25, 2015 and I must have part of the money raised by then.  My fundraising deadlines are as follows:

$3000 due by September 1st

$6,500 due by November 15th

$9,950 due by February 1st

You can donate to my support account using the ‘Support Me’ link on my blog homepage.  For other payment options please see my blog titled ‘Payment Methods’.

Thank you all again for your love, encouragement and support.  Please continue to pray for me and for other World Racer Alumni as we walk in the calling God has given us back home.
