My favorite memory comes from this night, July 24th, 2012.  We went to a village and while we were praying for them, there was healing after healing for everyone that I was praying for.  There was faith in this village.  There was healing.

I didn’t love this village because of all the healing, although that is a huge praise and it was so great to see God at work in their lives.  I loved this village because of one woman and what God did in her life.

She came up to me later in the evening asking for prayer for healing for her head pains, chest pains and leg pains.  I was excited to start praying because God had already done so much healing in the lives of the women I prayed for before.  I was so excited because my attitude towards God healing people changed.  My faith has changed.

With the woman that came up to me, I placed my hands on her and she started to wail!  I did not know what to do!  She was crying and rocking around.  I removed my hands and looked around for someone to come and help me.  Everyone was involved in praying for other people and translator came back to me crying out “Pray! Pray! Keep praying! Keep praying!” and the pastor cried out “Evil spirits! Evil spirits!” So I threw my hands back on her and started praying for God to give her rest and peace.  After a few minutes of praying, I asked the translator if she had the Holy Spirit living in her, and when he translated back to me that she did, I got really excited.  It was demon casting out time!  I prayed in the Name of Jesus Christ for the evil spirits and anything that is not of Christ to be casted out of her body and for the Holy Spirit to come rain down on her life and to fill her up with joy, peace and rest.  She didn't need to run anymore, but to fully rest in the Father's presence.  It was so incredible.  I opened my eyes and looked at the woman.  She was had peace and rest and no longer any sorrow.  It was beautiful.

I am so thankful for these moments of getting to rest in our Father's presence and learning to trust Him and Him alone, and getting to see God at work.
