Hey Everone! 🙂
So this is my first blog post ever… But I would like to start off by saying how excited I am to be able to be a part of something so amazing and serving God in the process. I also want to tell you guys how this all started. I’m a senior in high school and like every other senior we get asked the most famous question, “Where are you going to college?” And for a while I was certain on where I wanted to go to school.But i never really had peace in my heart about where I want to go to college and what I wanted to do. I was leaning on my own understanding and not giving it all to God and was not pursuing His purpose for me.
But God called me to something bigger and better, far beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. A couple of months later after endlessly researching schools and scholarships I decided to research, long term mission trips, and that’s when I found the World Race. And it immediately grabbed my heart. I started reading blogs everynight and reading how the lives of the people around them were being transformed and their own lives as well. After two weeks of fasting and praying I applied and went through with the interview,and gave it to God and a week later I got accepted. 🙂 I’m excited to start this next chapter in my life as I prepare to serve God and His people
So friends and family I will be participating in the World Race: Gap Year in September of 2014. Needless to say I am going to need a lot support in prayer and financially as I prepare for this life changing journey. Please pray for me as God leads me through this upcoming stage in my life and if God ids leading you to donate, please fund me for this trip. If He is leading you to donate just click the “Support Me!” tab on my blog and donate through there. My upcoming deadline is on May 13th and I need $6000 dollars in my account. I know it seems impossible but God is in control and nothing is impossible with Him. I can’t wait to see how God is going to work in my life and change my heart. Not only do I want to be changed but see the lives of others around me changed. Please help me reach my goal and thank you so much for your support! I will be updating my blog as much as I can with my fundraising and how God is working in my life. Let the fundraising begin! 😀
