I realized today that around this time last year I had just been accepted to the Race.
This is when I began the journey of preparing for a trip that would change my life and my walk with the Lord.
A year ago, I was discussing with my parents the financial side of this trip.
We were all wondering – with a strange combination of both scepticism and confidence – how $15,500 was just going to magically appear in my fundraising account.
As much as I knew with every fibre of my being that God would provide everything I need for this, I still held on to a tiny ounce of fear somewhere in the pit of my stomach – a fear that I wouldn’t quite make it.
And here I am, a year later, with my final financial deadline looming before me in a matter of weeks… and only $2000 to go before I reach that deadline.
Crazy, right!
I’m almost there, and so many of you helped me get this far.
Here I am, sitting in Albania in month 6 of my Race; I never actually knew that I would ever make it this far!
I mean, I knew… but I’m ashamed to say I still held on to some doubts.
So with $2000 to go, I’m asking, for probably one of the last times, if you’ll prayerfully consider supporting me for the second half of my trip.

5 months of travelling and experiencing Christ in ways I never thought I could experience him has changed me and grown me, but I know that 6 more months of this Race will change me even more.
