This was borrowed from The World Race – I am not the owner, but I think it's a pretty awesome message!

As you all know, I’m writing this from the other side of the world – I’m in Cambodia!

I love being able to share my stories that are happening as I live my crazy, Jesus-filled life around the world.

I begin to break out into a sweat every time I think about fundraising from all the way over here though…

Especially since I’m attempting to fundraise through a Canadian organization so that donors are able to get tax receipts, which involves having to wait until they deposit money into my account twice a month, which is followed by the process of mailing a money order to Adventures in Missions after.

This means that my finances are all over the place and it’s very confusing trying to figure it out from all the way across the world!

Thank you for your patience, since I’m sure everyone has been sitting on the edges of their seats waiting for the verdict…

Stay with me though, I believe that I have come to a conclusion (possibly)!

I have calculated my finances wrong – I’ve said in past posts that I have almost $11,000 in my account, but I actually only have a little less than $8,000.

Yes. That is considerably less money than I had thought.

This means that I’m still about $3,000 short of my deadline, which is coming up on December 1.

I know – this doesn’t leave us much time!

But the Lord has sent me on this journey, and I know that He’s going to keep me here.

Now that you know where I’m at in my finances, would you consider partnering with me so that I’m able to stay on the field?

I hope you’ve been keeping up with my blogs and reading the story that’s being written as I travel.

This story can continue if you would prayerfully consider supporting me financially so that I can reach my next deadline of $11,000, and then of course my final deadline of $15,500 at the end of February.

I am loving the work that God has placed in my life and I would love to continue to be able to do it.

For all of my Canadian donors, I understand that you want your tax receipts!

Unfortunately though, as I’ve explained above, when the money is donated through the Canadian organization, it is quite the process to get it to my fundraising account with Adventures in Missions.

If it’s possible, and if you’re willing, it would be so helpful if you would consider donating directly to my World Race account.

You can actually donate through my blog – just click on the “Support Me” tab on the sidebar.

Your support, both prayerful and financial, is so appreciated.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

I would love to make this clearer for you if you’re unsure or confused.

I am so blessed by all of you and so excited to have you alongside me through this crazy, scary, wonderful, beautiful journey.
