Darwin Maness–

So thankful for the life you lived before me.  For your constant love.  Your encouragement.  And support. You have truly been a blessing in my life and I’m so thankful that you have poured into me as much as you have.

Sweet Darwin and Susan have poured into my life ever since I was in high school.  They’ve supported me on every Mission trip I’ve taken whether it was to Gulfport, MS, Waco, TX, India to The World Race.  Always believing and pouring into what they saw the Lord doing inside of me and through me.

Darwin was my Sunday School teacher for several years.  He poured into me as a teacher, supporter, encourager and friend.  Pursuing the fact that God's Love is SO real.  He wanted me to take the love I'd been shown in my lifetime and grace others with it.  And really learn to live it out, to speak truth into people's lives and love them as Christ; knowing that my relationship with the Lord would grow immensely in the process.  He genuinely cared.

I'm so grateful for his countless prayers and relentless love.

He passed away recently.

But His love didn't.

The memories he bestowed to his wife + children + family + friends didn't.

How he encouraged us didn't.

Things that he taught us to live for didn't.

How he fought to pursue us in Christ's unconditional love didn't.

I didn't think that the last time I saw him at church a day before I left home would be my last time physically here on this earth.  It only makes me MORE thankful for the precious memories I have of him.  His love and legacy only push me forward in this Race.  In a pursuit of the Father's love.  In carrying out the love that he so gracefully poured into my life and freely giving it to nations and people around the world.  Knowing that each heart is worthy of God's love.  That each person should be seen in eyes like Christ.  And that each and every moment of each and every day has meaning and purpose.

Love you always, Darwin!

Praying for you sweet Susan in this time, you're not alone, nor will you ever be. You are loved.  You are precious.  You are still pursued by our Father.  In the deepest of valleys or the highest of mountains, God is still there.  Prayer is a powerful thing.  Keep those doors open.  Fight for time with your maker, He hears you and cares for you.  You're a blessing in my life.  Love to you from Nepal. <3
