Palm Trees surround us here in Bangalore. South India has ecstatic weather this time of year. It’s warm and cool and beautiful. We’re working with Jireh Children’s Home. It seeks to prepare and empower the poor and powerless through holistic care to live in dignity and hope. To uplift the lives of underprivileged children and young people with love and care, through regular education and vocational training. Jireh comes from “Jehovah Jireh,” God as our provider.
There are 13 children that we get to love on this month. They carry themselves in SO much joy and sing praises of the Lord. They are unashamed. They are brothers and sisters. We are in relationship with these new people and we ADORE these kids.
We're really excited to spend Christmas here. We're excited to bless the kids with gifts. To have a pizza & movie night, which they've experienced once in their lives. We will be helping teach the children English this month, bible studies, teaching music and sharing the Gospel on Sunday services, as well as during devotion time.
To unite as ONE body of Christ & glorify our King.
