I've been in Asia just over 2 & 1/2 months now. And I've realized you've got a lot more info in blogs about what I've been feeling, so now here is a short & simple blog as an overview leading up to this point… this is how it goes.
In Thailand–
I worked with SHE (Self Help & Empowerment). We did nightly bar ministry.

We took the ladies out on dates during the day.

We spent an adequate and ample amount of time in intercession.

We worked on the land.

Experienced some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire world. (I'm totally enthralled by creation.)

Fell in love with Autumn, one of our sweet friends!

In Cambodia–
Celebrated my 23rd birthday in BOTH Thailand & Cambodia

My friends know how to have a good time!
Visited Angkor Wat
We had Team Changes & my new team name is "P.S. I love you!" Considering all that we've been through together, we choose to love, forgive, and speak life no matter what circumstance!
I taught English

Madisson & I with our morning class.

helped with worship & leading church services

I experienced village life in Cambodia.
& Got an infection due to lack of sanitation. It happens! But I'm much better now!
It was a month where I learned a lot about well being, how different community will look after the Race, what Jesus says about being ENOUGH for our circumstances.
THIS MONtH I'm in Viet Nam–
Its beautiful here. I have such an incredible opportunity to bring such hope to this place. Its a "closed country" by certain standards but we have a little more freedom than some closed countries.
Considering we have SO many people in the States that have fought in the Vietnam War, its an incredible blessing to have my very on first hand experience. Getting to see the good of what is coming out of this place years later.

Relational Ministry– Some afternoons are spent singing worship songs in the park. I've learned to play the guitar this year and playing in the park is one of my absolute favorite things to do. We've made a ton of friends.
This is of Emily & I!

Sometimes groups of students interview us & practice their English

Some friends we in the park took Madisson & I to the Vietnam War Memorial.
We even had delicious capuccino afterwards! We love our friend Vy, she is moving to the States next week!
Sometimes we do night ministry as well. This is Brittany and I with our Irish friend Colin, & our little Vietnamese friend, Quy
Me joking with our translator, Nga
We got to go on a boat ride down the Mekong Delta River.

And I might have even held an Anaconda
I worked with an Orphanage. This is Quang, the baby I wanted to kidnap.

Sometimes its super important for us to catch up with friends, reflect & encourage & just get some sweet quality time! So I've went on plenty of dates with
my people this month.
This is Brittany & I

We got to catch up with Perisseuo, too. They are my family.
My team also got some time leading worship, sharing testimonies & a message in a town two hours away. It was right next to the beach so we had some time to hang out and enjoy it!
This month is going super well. I've tried being super intentional with this ministry. This is our ATL "Ask the Lord" Month. We're in Viet Nam and we ask the Lord, daily, what we are to do and what people he wants us to love like him (everyone). We're leaning on the Lord, spending an ample amount of time in intercession & relying on Him. I'm learning about the simple message of the Gospel and letting my identity truly stand in Him alone.
I'll be back in the states at the end of July & back in North Carolina in August!
Your prayers are more appreciated than you can imagine. Keep my squad in constant prayer.
