During the last 2 weeks God has been teaching me a LOT about His faithfulness.
So as many of you know I had to raise $1300 in about 2 weeks. I began to be overwhelmed and stressed. I was thinking “how am I going to raise this much in 2 weeks..?” Through this God began to tell me “you’re not. I am. I will provide, trust me.” As our pastor preached last Sunday on a Gospel Soldier from 2 Timothy 2:3-4 he began to talk about how as Jesus is receiving lashes from the Roman guards he is abandoned, as He is dying on the cross (aside from His mother and Mary and one disciple) He is abandoned. He was talking about how following Jesus isn’t easy and he said if Jesus asked “I’m going to Jerusalem and I wont make it out.. are you coming?” would we be willing to walk there with Him.
“Will you walk with me here?” – God began to speak this to me. “Will you walk with me here, in this moment, will you trust me to provide for what I’ve called you to?”
“Yes Lord, I am trusting you. I can’t do this. You have to. Show me that you are working in this.” Funds began to come in. I began little by little to see the $1300 diminish. Sunday, Monday, and part of Tuesday go by and I still have $800 left to raise. I get a text from my pastor saying that it is taken care of. The church is helping me. I began to thank God for providing, again and again He has provided.
So, to all of you who helped me reach this goal, thank you! The Lord is using you to send me to Southeast Asia for 3 months to take His gospel! I am beyond thrilled to be going once again. I am overwhelmed and so so thankful that God is using me to take the gospel all over the world. That He has given me the opportunity to share with people who have never heard Jesus’ name before.
I am blown away at His continued faithfulness!
