Hey guys!
My name is Kaitlin Gant and I am 20 years old. I currently work for the YMCA in their childcare and I love it!
So in the past three years God has led me on an amazing journey. In June of 2015 God called me to go to Honduras. I fell in love with the people but more importantly I fell in love with the Lord in a was I’d never known before. When I returned from this trip I felt God already saying “You’re going back there” and in March of 2016 I returned. I was able to see God work and move in my life through both of these trips and they completely changed my life forever. During my second trip to Honduras God began to lay Kenya on my heart, in October that same year I went. While on that trip I felt God confirming His call on my life to do international missions long-term. I talked to my missions pastor who served in South Asia for 4 years and through that felt God calling me there. I began praying through going and when my church did a trip there I went. While on that trip I heard God keep telling me “You’re coming back, these are the people I want you taking the gospel to. They need you so they can know me.” I began to really pray through what was going to be next in this journey and the Lord just kept putting South Asia on my heart and so I went back in June of this year (2018) for a month. Through that trip I was able to really see the Lord work and even just grow closer to Him. I also felt Him confirming His call for me to work with unreached unengaged people groups long-term in Asia. The next step God has called me to is this trip. I am beyond excited to see what God has for this trip and to see Him work!
