“I used to judge them [ladyboys], because they were sexual deviants. But one day God said to me, ‘Hey Coach! Why are you judging my creation?’ Then He broke my heart for them. They’re just people.”

-Kenny (Coach) – Founder of Wipe Every Tear

Wipe Every Tear is an incredible organization that pulls girls out of the sex trade and gives them a home and an education- for free. Recently their focus has grown to include not only girls in the sex trade, but also ladyboys. Ladyboys identify as girls, but were born male. And they’re really not any different than the other girls stuck in the sex trade. Most of them did not choose to be prostituted, they were forced or tricked into it. And most of them want a college education and a better job. Wipe Every Tear is taking the step to loving unconditionally.

From a young age I wondered why people in the LGBT community (lesbians, gays, bisexual, transsexual and many other groups) were treated differently than everyone else. The bible tells us that it is not our position to judge, we are made to show love. Personally, I do not understand why it matters who we show love to. Especially when love is unconditional.

This is a topic that is very close to my heart because I have several friends who are gay or lesbian. But it is especially important to me because my sister is part of this community, too. CJ is gender fluid.

This is what gender fluid means: gender is a spectrum. There is boy and girl, but there is gender between those or no gender at all. Gender fluid is gender that moves and changes along that spectrum. Somedays, as gender fluid, CJ may feel more a mix of male and female but other days may feel either more male or more female. There are many other people who feel this, too. CJ even has a few friends who identify as gender fluid. I will admit, this is a little confusing sometimes but I love my sister all the time no matter what.

((Shoutout to CJ! I’m so proud of you for letting me share this with the world!!! I know this is something you’ve been nervous about. Love you))

My job in life is to BE Jesus to others. Jesus did not judge any of us on Earth and he spent most of His time with prostitutes and sinners. He didn’t care if a person “was worthy”, because to Him we are ALL worthy. And who am I to say that my sin is lesser than another person’s sin. So since it is not my place to judge, all I can do is show unconditional love to everyone.

Wipe Every Tear is doing a girl’s getaway for the ladyboys this year. When I heard about it, God set it on my heart that this is something I need to do. It works out pretty well with my schedule since I am already here in the Philippines. I will just end up staying a week or so longer than the rest of my squad. For this ministry I will have to raise 3,500 dollars. This supports my stay at the resort but it also pays for the ladyboys to come, too, since it is a free trip for them. The goal of this mission is to show them Jesus’ love and to share with them the great opportunity to get a college education.

Donations made the trip can be made here, these donations are tax-deductible:

I am also raising money for my flight home. These donations will be personal and not tax-deductible but still greatly appreciated! They can be made to my paypal: enter the email ( [email protected] )

I know this is something not all of you agree with, but I’m asking for your support because this means a lot to me and they are people, too.
