Well, I’m currently sitting in the Atlanta airport awaiting my flight to Panama. I will be entering into a completely new reality and I am more than ready for it to happen. A reality of limited worldly belongings and completely immersing ourselves into the culture of these 11 different countries. As exciting as it is, it’s a lot to take in.

Recently, at launch we got asked “who are you?”

Although I have a pretty good idea of who I am and that my life is rooted in God, love, family, faith, hope, etc. I can’t help but think that these next 11 months will show me who I am more than ever. There are so many different scenarios and situations and lifestyles that I will encounter, but I know that whatever it is, God will show me exactly what I need to do. We were told to believe in ourselves and that if God, the king of kings, can love us unconditionally and believe in us, then we have no reason to not believe in ourselves. As I embark on this journey, I can proudly say I believe in myself and what I am doing. But I challenge all of you who are reading this to think about that and truly believe in yourselves too. Family, friends, subscribers and complete strangers, I challenge you to be on this journey with me. Find who you are and truly believe in yourself.

This first month we will be in Chiriqui, Panama doing multiple types of ministry, including working with children, visiting an Indian reservation, and doing some prison ministry. I am so excited that I can barely put it into words.

Thank you everyone for all the well wishes and prayers. I can feel the amount of love and support and am so thankful. love you all! Also, please continue to keep me in your prayers, as well as the other 280 racers that launched today.

xoxo,

kaitlin
