PHOTO OF THE DAY!
Alongside the building we are staying in this month, was a big mess of weeds. Its a pretty good amount of space, but because it was covered in weeds, it has not been able to be utilized. So, our ministry became cleaning out the weeds. When I found out, I was stoked! In Cambodia, my team and I got to do a lot of gardening and manual labor,which we found to be very rewarding.
It took 5 of us, whacking away at these weeds for two hours, but we got them all up. Before, it was a mess of wild flowers and weeds, and not it is a clear space for them to use for whatever they might like.
It was so much fun to get a little dirty, and sweaty, and clean up these weeds. Although, we didn’t share verbally the love of The Lord, get got to show it in actions. Sometimes ministry is just serving people in any way you can! And sometimes, those are my favorite kind of days.
