Dear friends and family,

The past year of my life has been a year full of spiritual growth, healing, and figuring out what it looks like to live like Jesus. March 24, 2015, was the day I decided to get baptized and fully give my life to Christ. I was living a worldly life, concerned about popularity, financial success, and possessions. I always felt like I was missing something, and living out an empty life. Jesus has radically changed all this. I remember reading in the Bible about a man named Isaiah, who was an average guy, living a sinful lifestyle, not knowing God. When he was encountered by God, he quickly realized he was lacking a full life, and confessed his sins. He immediately was cleansed and renewed, and without knowing what Gods plans were for him, he asked God to use him. Isaiah, verse 6:8, he says “Here I am, Send me!” and God did. I was so inspired by the bravery and willingness Isaiah had to serve the Lord. I felt convicted, and prayed to God, “Send me”. Soon after this, I was presented with the opportunity to serve at Fuse, a youth ministry in my local church, Central Christian.

Serving for the church has been such a blessing, and I thank God every day for using me to touch the lives of the youth and bring them closer to God. But recently I have been feeling God pull on my heart, and whisper in my ear “Go! Use what I have equipped you with, to reach more people.” Then I heard about the World Race, a mission trip where I could reach 11 different countries in 11 months. I knew this was the next place God was sending me to, and just like Isaiah, I had to be brave! After lots of prayer, I applied and just recently got accepted!

The World Race is a Christian mission trip to 11 Countries around the world. This unique experience is a daring adventures for young adults looking to exchange a life full of possessions for a life full of God. We believe life isn’t about serving yourself, but dying to yourself in the pursuit of serving the Kingdom. This mission is designed to launch my generations into our specific Kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Fathers love to many tribes and nations.

This mission will bring many challenges along the way, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other missions organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded in January 2017, I need to raise $17,017. Woah! So clearly, I can’t do this alone. This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 months of the trip. As I take this large step of faith in trusting the Lord, would you prayerfully consider joining me in this, with financial support of either a one-time donation or a monthly commitment of your desired amount?

All donations make a difference and are greatly appreciated. Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have.
