These past couple days, a lot of our ministry has been manual labor, so when I heard that our ministry this morning would to be make some homemade jam, you can imagine my excitement.
I had mentioned in a previous blog how the organization I’m partnered with this month, supports women coming out of prostitution and the sex trade. They gain the money to do that by a women’s magazine they publish and also by selling different things to the village.
This week, its apple cinnamon jam.
We were so excited, not only because this goes to save so many women, but because this is a skill we get to take home with us.
We had a blast making the jam, spending some good time with our host, and also getting to bond with each other in sisterhood during this time.
I love all the creative ways this organization uses its talents and resources to bless this community and share the good news.
