Hi, your favorite daughter here.
I just wanted to say Happy Mother’s Day to the women who made me who I am today. For those of you who have not had the privilege of meeting my mom, let me tell you about her!
Well, to start off, she is a 5’4, blonde, as my teammates would say ‘Hottie’.
Her name is Judy, and she is one rock solid lady. Despite circumstances in her life, she has always chosen to pursue the higher road. She does not settle for less than she deserves, and will work her booty off to get exactly what she wants. She has taught me what excellent work ethic and determination looks like. She is living proof that no matter where you come from, or what happens to you, you can be whatever you want to be!
With being so strong, she also has one of the kindest hearts I know. She has taught how to have compassion for everyone. No matter if she knows you or not, she is always willing to relate to you, and even cry with you. She is not afraid to share her heart with everyone she meets. She has always encouraged me to love everyone in my life.
She is my biggest cheerleader. She has always pushed me to follow my dreams- even when she clearly doesn’t agree with them. She has made me feel like there is no dream too big to dream, and that I’m capable of doing anything I put my mind to.
She is selfless. She is confident. She is loving. She is beautiful. She is my mom.
So, to the women who has always fought for me, HAPPY MOMMA’S DAY. Thank you for loving me so well. You deserve the world, and I hope that you feel extra loved on this special day. I miss you every day, and can’t wait to see you in just 7 short months… or maybe even in Swaziland!
Hugs and kisses, hope you get lots of gift cards to your favorite store, Maurices. Can’t wait to steal your clothes again!
