She Walks in Truth is a podcast where you can listen in on and hear God-inspired messages and faith stories to encourage people to walk confidently in Christ.
Upon return to the states, I will be joining the She Walks in Truth team, working part time as a content creator with a focus in the areas of social media, podcast, & blogging platforms.
For this I am thrilled and am excited to share with you the why behind it.
So…how did I get connected with this gig? Good question!
The founder, Carrie Robaina is a cherished friend & mentor. She is a sister in Christ I met while living in MN several summers back. Carrie is gifted in many ways. She is an entrepreneur, encourager, wife, mother of 3 kiddos, CEO, speaker, passionate about sharing the gospel, & a natural at empowering people to be the world changers they are capable of being in this lifetime.
I just adore this woman & truly look up to her in numerous ways (Check out the photo of us together above! That is from our time together on a recon trip helping prepare for a missions trip in San Francisco 2015)
I am so excited to learn from this opportunity & feel in my heart this is going to help me build a foundation of knowledge for starting something unique like this too. To learn from such a trusted mentor & friend, is almost too good to be true.
A little background on this part time gig: Carrie & I catch up over the phone on a regular, usually monthly basis & after a long phone call with her in China this past year…I finished that conversation totally inspired, challenged, and free to dream BIG.
It was that conversation I felt the Lord use as a turning point for me regarding vocations to pursue after the race. I had decided that upon return to the states I would try & give it a shot to pursue something with deep purpose that involved creating, encouraging, equipping, & Joy, all with a Jesus centered focus.
(What that would look like a year from now…I didn’t know exactly & either do I know right now…but I know together, God & I are onto something & love the thrill of it!)
I also remember thinking to myself after that phone call, “man, how cool would that be to partner up with Carrie on what she is doing & learn from her on this whole podcasting/blogging platform she has going on”.
& I said a quick prayer to God, something along the lines of “Who know’s God, I know you’ll work things out the way you see fit & I give all these dreams and desires to you”.
Fast forward several months later….
Carrie & have our regular phone call catch up. In that conversation we were chatting about “post world race opportunities.”
Long story short…it clicked in our heads at just about the same time. Carrie shared the need for some extra help with She Walks in Truth & I shared that I was interested in learning from her. She said it would be a flexible means of employment & I would learn a lot from it. I said, YEP that sounds like a good plan to me. I’m in.
Sometimes you just know. You can feel it in your spirit. A big YES! Joy. Timing. Growth. Answered prayers. BOOM.
Friend, may this encourage you today. God’s timing is perfect. He hears the desires of your heart & cares infinitely more than we can fathom ourselves. This is just one glimpse of that.

Over the past year I’ve had the privileged to listen to these podcasts on a regular basis & walk away encouraged and refreshed every time. Carrie interviews woman of the Christian faith from all types of backgrounds & there is something I have taken away from it every time. So whether you are driving, taking a walk, resting, or taking a break from work…this is a great show to tune into.
