I don’t even have the words to say. I cant begin to explain how I felt, what I saw, or what I experienced.

Walking down a strip that’s probably a mile long and all you see is women being told to sit and look pretty for the men. Men who are selling tickets to shows. Foreigners who are buying into this awful business.

It’s called the red light district. I always heard about it. I knew it was the most trafficked area in the world. Over 1 million girls are sold. Never did I ever think I would find myself here.

33 of us went out ready to go to battle. Ready to take our place in the dark. We were prepared for the Holy Spirit to guide us.

My group of 3 ended up buying 3 prostitutes. As we were escorted up to the bar the girls all lined up one by one. “Pick me pick me please” as a desperate cry out to get away for just an hour came out of one girls mouth. My heart completely broke but I heard Jesus say love them like I love. Show them a difference, show them that they are truly beautiful and tell them how much I love them.

These girls were exactly that.. young girls ages 19-22 who were just humans who loved to sing karaoke, who likes snacks and soda, who have dreams, who love to laugh.

We shared the love of Jesus, shared the gospel. But in that hour reality hit, we live in a world of destruction where the enemy is at work the enemy is trying to kill and destroy. This place was dark. But for one hour we were light bringing hope, encouragement, and the right type of love.

Not only do the girls need to be shown the correct type of love, but the men participating in this industry need just as much love. We are called to love like Jesus. A lot of these men are lost and in need of someone to love them. If we can go into communities like this changing one life at a time we can make a difference. Nothing is impossible for Jesus.

I wish I could give more details. I wish I could explain more because there is so much I could say, but this is all I am able to share about last night in the red light district.
