I’m really at a loss for words right now so this is going to be short and sweet.

 

I’M FULLY FUNDED.

 

Yes, in less than 4 months God provided $16,277.00 to cover my expenses for this next year.   Not only did He provide $16,277.00, but well over that with money specifically for my gear and vaccinations. Hallelujah! Lately I haven’t been able to say too much besides a loud “HALLELUJAH”! Over and over again I’ve been humbled as God has proven himself faithful in every single detail of this fundraising process. I set a goal to be fully funded before I leave, and God has provided in such an abundant way that I’ve met my goal faster than I ever imagined. Wow. HALLELUJAH. (Sorry not sorry for the extreme amount of HALLELUJAH’s throughout the rest of this post, I just can’t help it, GOD IS SO AWESOME!)

 

SO MANY THANK YOU’S TO…

 

The entire Body of Christ, regardless if you go to the same church as me or not, I believe in the “C” Church, regardless of denomination, THANK YOU. My heart has been overwhelmed with so much love and support from so many different people from so many different denominations. Thank you to those who allowed me to come to your Sunday school classes and bible studies and share what God has called me to do. Many of you have been the same ones who have prayed for me and my family for years throughout my prodigal days, what an awesome Redeemer we serve! HALLELUJAH! Thank you to my family and friends for supporting me emotionally and physically by encouraging me, praying for me, dealing with my moodiness (because if I’m honest, I’m an imperfect human being who needs a WHOLE BUNCH of grace, especially during so much transition and fundraising), helping me move out of my apartment, and the many ways you’ve loved me and continue to love me. Thank you to those of you that have supported me whether financially or in prayer, but don’t even know me personally but you love Jesus and understand His heart for missions and this hurting and broken world. I thank God for you. Thank you to so many businesses in Ada, Oklahoma, for donating items and venues for fundraising events. I love my town and the community we have here; I’m truly proud to call Ada home. I really thought this post would be a lot shorter than what it’s becoming, oops, but there’s so much to be thankful for and so many to thank! 🙂 My biggest thank you goes to my Papa in Heaven, my Jehovah Jireh, my Redeemer, my Provider, my Alpha and Omega, because this journey started and will end with Him. For its God who’s given me the desire to serve and follow Him. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20)

 

THINGS TO REMEMBER…

 

  • Any money that is donated to my World Race account after this point automatically goes into Adventures In Missions General Fund, which will support other missionaries within Adventures In Missions and Adventures In Missions as an organization but will have nothing to do with me personally.  I can’t really do anything about this and all donations are non-refundable.
  • There are opportunities to serve with Adventures In Missions after the World Race which would require more fundraising. My life is entirely in God’s hands at this point, including my plans for after the Race, so I really don’t know if I will be fundraising again in the future or not. Whatever His will for my life I’m praying it be done.
  • Training camp is in three weeks. Please keep my squad and me in your prayers. There’s tons of preparation and gear buying and emotions leading up to it. Pray for peace, unity, provision for everyone still fundraising, and for our safety as we’re all traveling to AIM headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
  • So training is in three weeks and then launch isn’t too far behind… whoa. PRAY FERVENTLY for God to prepare our hearts and minds for those we’ll be ministering too and with. I can’t stress enough the amount of prayer my whole squad and I desperately need right now, spiritual warfare is real and the closer these dates get the harder the enemy has been fighting us all. Please pray for peace, understanding, and comfort for all of our families as they trust God with each one of us.
  • Most everyone has seen and heard about the major earthquake that hit Nepal and the damage and destruction it’s caused. Our route this year is suppose to take us to Nepal sometime in November, although this is subject to change at any time. Please join my squad and me in prayer for the people of Nepal and that the door of opportunity to serve and bring God’s restoration and healing would remain open.
  • I’m wrapping up my last fundraiser with six days left to buy a t-shirt that my awesome friend Gentry Fisher designed for me. The shirts will ship directly to you about two weeks after my campaign ends on May 7th. To purchase a shirt before time runs out, go to:
