Short. Sweet. To the point.

Life is good but God is better.

I am now in month 5 of the race. Here’s what it looks like: I have been changed to a new team. I have been raised up to team leader. We are working at a girls’ home with 14 girls. Ages 6-18. Our living situation rocks. The Girls love the Lord. My team desires to go deeper and deeper in their relationships with the Lord. My team is going to encourage me, sharpen me, challenge me, pour into me.

We all had whole squad debrief last week with our leadership team. It was the greatest. I had time to sit down and have a one on one with our mentor. We had time to worship and pray and get poured into as a whole squad. We had time to spend with the whole squad and learn about all that the Lord is doing in their lives on their race. One of my best friends, Elizabeth, also got baptized in a hotel bathroom (I will share that blog as soon as it happens). I turned into a crier overnight. Life is good, people. Life is so good.

People don’t tell you that sometimes on the race you will go through a dry season. That not every month is a spiritual high. Thailand was that month for me. It was dry and it was hard and debrief came at the best possible time. I left debrief refilled to take on a new team, new role and new ministry and I cannot wait to see all that this month holds!!!

I plan to write a more in depth blog on all that the Lord is teaching me in the coming days but today I just wanted all of you, fine people, to know what this month will be looking like!
