Things I
learned at training camp…

-Georgia is FREEZING AT NIGHT!  I thought that Georgia was going to have the
same weather as Texas because it is directly East than me.. WRONG! It was
freezing at night, so pack warm instead of bring all shorts and t-shirts like
me!

-Do what your mama taught ya and wash your
hands before you eat, you never know if you are going to be eating with your
hands

-The sun is not up at 7am in Georgia, it’s
actually extremely dark. waking up for 7 am workouts was da bomb.. loved early
morning sweat sessions with my team!

-headlamps are dorky, but EXTREMELY useful J I used mine all the time
to see in the dark!

-The dirt in Georgia is red, and it gets
all over EVERYTHING!

-I rock at 4 square J just sayin…. (jk.. I’m
actually really bad!)

-pretzels and Nutella = awesome! Binging on
muffin tops, pretzels, and peanut butter  while watching Count of Monte Cristo was so
fun .. and needed.

-Having no legs pretty much makes you
useless

-daddy long legs are everywhere.. and after
a while, they aren’t scary anymore. Just normal

-You can hear everything through a tent
wall. Even though you feel like you’re alone in private, everyone can hear you!

-brushing your teeth in the woods is fun!

-God is NOT in a box.. I smashed that box
at TC!

-God made dirt, so dirt don’t hurt! (I
watched Lindsey Gay peel a hard boiled egg, drop it in the dirt, wipe it off,
then pop it in her mouth!) 🙂 see.. dirt doesn’t hurt!

-If someone tells you that there will be
canoes waiting for you when you get to the lake… you might want to make sure
before you walk to the lake.. b/c there is a good chance that they are not
there!

-If you want a s’more, Raime will make you
share your story before you get one! So prepared to talk after you eat!

-Campfire smell is my new perfume!

-having dance offs are a great way to bond
as a team!

I love my
T-squad
