That’s it.That’s it. That really is the simplicity of the Gospel, and that is the good news that I get to share with people every single day. That no matter who you are – no matter your personality type – no matter your monetary or occupational status – no matter your age – no matter what, God is able to meet you there as soon as you invite Him to by accepting the covering of the blood of Christ, and He begins to sanctify you…and there is no formula.

That’s it.

That (read parts 1-3 if you're confused) really is the simplicity of the Gospel,
and that is the good news that I get to share with people every single day:

That no matter who you are – no matter your personality type – no matter your monetary or occupational status – no matter your age – no matter what,

God is able to meet you there as soon as you invite Him to by accepting the covering of the blood of Christ, and He begins to sanctify you

…and there is no formula.

You don’t have to start every morning by spending 20 minutes in prayer, 30 minutes in the Bible, 10 minutes journaling, and 40 minutes listening to worship music.
You don’t have to have a routine like that, but you can.

You don’t have to make flash cards to memorize a new Bible verse every 4 days and at the end of every month start over and refresh yourself so that you are constantly, intentionally, memorizing specific passages and verses of scripture,
but you can.

You don’t have to,

and I don’t have to,

force anything about my relationship with Jesus other than making the choice every moment of every day to BE IN RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, and in that we are made to look more like Christ.

Beyond how much I’ve seen evidence that God has met with me and prepared me without me even knowing He was doing it,

Jesus has shown me through evangelism how intentionally He seeks each of His children individually.

In Genesis 16, when Sarah gets impatient and gives Abraham Hagar so that she can bear him a son, and then Hagar is cast out of the home; Hagar encounters the Lord at a well – and do you know what she says?

“I have seen the God who sees me.”
(Genesis 16:13-14)

This is a woman who was used literally for her uterus and then cast out because jealousy overtook her master, and when she tried to flee, she was met by the God who SEES her.

I see every single day out here how clearly that same God SEES His children.

Every time I open my mouth when I’m out for an evangelism day, God gives me the same Gospel to present – but He gives it to me in completely different words and will bring completely different scriptures to my mind,

and it’s never until after I’ve prayed with the person(s) I’ve witnessed to that I learn why those specific scriptures were used – if I ever learn why at all.

I have learned through evangelism –

as in door-to-door ministry

where I walk up to someone’s house and ask them if I can tell them everything about what I believe about God

things that have changed the way I view the world

and things that have significantly broadened the spectrum upon which I even being to try to comprehend who God is

and how He works in us,

through us,

and for us;

and the compellation of what I have learned through that is this:

God is absolutely, crazy-IN-LOVE with YOU.
