The World Race is extremely difficult to summarize.
Every individual's race is drastically different, even if you're on the same team, but the gist of it is that squads of 40-50 strangers set out together to travel to 11 countries in 11 months and become family in the process, growing closer to each other as we grow closer to the Lord.

We're divided into teams of 5-7 (on average) people. We travel to countries as a squad, we split up within the countries in teams and go to various ministry sites in cities all over the country for the month – then we meet up, travel to our next country, and do it again.

Ministry changes in each country but includes bar ministry with prostitutes, manual labor, children's programs, preaching, leading worship, helping at orphanages, hospitals, elderly homes, and churches, door-to-door evangelism, food programs, homeless ministries…you get the idea 😉

To Die Will Be An Awfully Big Adventure!

"For if we have been joined together with Him in the likeness of His death, we will certainly also be in the likeness of His resurrection…For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to God. So, you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus."
Romans 6:5, 10-11.

It is my hope and prayer for this blog to be as much an encouragement and source of hope as it is a means to keep up with where I am and what the Lord is doing in my life and before me.
