I think every racer looks at that amount and thinks, “No way…”
I know I did.
I’m not even sure how to go about thanking every single person that has made this Race possible.
But for the ones that read this blog:
Thank-you for forfeiting whatever it was you had to forfeit.
Maybe it was a latte…
Maybe it was a haircut…
Maybe it was a delayed vacation…
Maybe it was a movie…
Maybe it was even something you desperately needed…
Maybe it was even part of a car payment or house payment…
Maybe it was your right to spend it on yourself…
Maybe it’s been time…
Maybe it’s been thoughts…
Don’t think that I overlook those last two.
Because I know it takes time to say a prayer…
And many of you have said many.
I know it takes time to read this blog…
And yet, you do.
I know it takes time to set up Skype and then coordinate to talk with me in a VERY different time zone…
But you make it happen…
I know it takes time to write every word of encouragement…
And you do without fail.
I wish I could express how meaningful all those things are.
Because some days are long…some weeks are long.
Sometimes internet access is few and far between.
So when I finally get a computer and get connected…
Your comments, emails, messages, and even just seeing your names…make my heart smile…and sometimes they even evoke a few tears 
.
And there are no words to adequately express the weight of that.
So, thank-you.
Thank-you for financially and prayerfully enabling me to be here.
And thank-you for the prayers and encouragement that are sustaining me while I am here.
He answers those…know that.
And know that I am praying for you…and learning more about what that means each day.
